Borler (pronounced bo-Luh; 伯樂), is an architectural designer from the Chicago suburbs, currently pursuing a Master in Architecture (MArch I) at the Harvard Graduate School of Design as a Dean’s Merit Scholar. He is passionate about design centered around community, and believes that collaboration can create opportunities woven into the fabric of what already exists.
His experience spans a range of scales, including a mixed-use development for the Walton Foundation, a 3,000-acre life sciences master plan in Philadelphia, two public libraries in the Chicago area, various residential projects, and a university publication.
He holds a Bachelor of Science in Architecture with High Honors from Washington University in St. Louis, where he received the Faculty Award for Outstanding Scholarship and the Civic Engagement Award.
